Description: The Action Researcher/Performer photographed different human figures seen on the streets of Paris, in the form of- statues, memorials, or represented in paste-ups and graffiti.  The photographs were then printed in black and white, partially painted and stained, then pasted onto card and cut out.  The scaled-down figures were then positioned back in the city, standing directly on the stained parts of footpaths.  The proliferation and range of stains that mark the footpaths of Paris are caused by running liquid, most commonly, dog urination.  These city figures could be seen rising up from the moist surface, ruling over this every-changing miniature urban landscape.
